Hey guys,
I need to get the front of my Celica painted (3L2 Red) and I'm looking for some shops around Florence, SC that does good paintwork. I would like to get just the front matched up to the paintjob of the car to save the expense of repainting the whole car (the paint on the car is in great condition, the front had new parts and was spraypainted flat red) .... Also, do you guys recommend just completely sanding the front of the car myself and then taking it there (I guess I'm asking would it be better to get all the spraypainted red off first) ...... Any tips/help provided would be appreciated.... PS... Yea I actually did take an old 1991 Camry to Maaco about 4 years ago in Florence, SC and they repainted the car. I have heard horror stories about Maaco but that car didn't fade or chip in the 4 years after I got it painted there; however this is a 1996 Celica and if I can find better quality elsewhere for maybe even a little more of the price... I would take it there instead. |
