Hey guys, I'm in a position to get a Mines ECU at a bargain price, it was set up
for an MR2 (Mark2 Model 1995)running 17psi with the 3SGTE engine. I'm just wondering whether it would be compatable with my 94 WRC ST205. He says it will work fine with any model with the 3SGTE revision 3 engine (1995 onwards).
My model was the original WRC homologation model of march 1994 so I'm
looking for any advice for anyone who's a boffin on the 3SGTE to throw in
their 2 pennies worth. Will check back on 6gc when I finish work so sorry
if my replies to any questions are a bit slow,

Jon

my educated guess would be that it would work but it would need some modification. they are completely different cars in a sense even though the same engine...but at a "bargain price" i would go for it. those things are pretty expensive.

Ok, just pulled up some technical info on the ECU pinouts of the MR2 and the
ST205 and there are too many discrepancies between the pin assignments
to make a straight forward match, looks like its a no no. Thanks for the feedback
GT2GT4, looks like I may have to go down the Blitz route for an ECU remap and
they ain't cheap - £1000 --Ouch!! tongue.gif ,
