I am moving out of the country soon (next couple months) and debating on selling my Celica. I love this car but it won't do me any good while I'm in China! I was hoping that someone here could help me come up with a "what I would pay" value to sway me one way or the other. I don't have pictures yet but can post them soon. I'm pretty sure the car is all stock, 156k, some dings and chips on the outside (nothing horrible), interior is gray (with those vibrant highlights) and in decent shape, needs tires and possibly brake pads, just put in a brand new clutch, very small oil leek from distributor cap? (not a car guy at all-I believe thats where the mechanic who did the clutch told me it was-he wasn't concerned), the top works great. Was in a minor accident and had the passenger side door and rear panel repaired. Adjuster gave the car a value of $6200. Is this a good place to start? Any advice would be much appriciated.

any convert is worth 3k base price plus mileage and options...You also just joined today which makes it kinda sketchy. Insurance companies will always say the car is worth more than the accident as to not total it out and lose money....I think the combined prices of my 97's accidents TOTAL to $27,000 and I was only IN the car for 1 of the several accidents and hit and runs my car was in.

with that being said, I'd say $5,500.
