if you consider yourself lucky, take it for a spin, in my case I wouldn't touch it, with my luck I get hit by a dude in a wheelchair.

what would you do if he took your car out for a spin with out asking. Your car maybe slower then his and you may ask why would he ever take my car out.
Any car is fun to drive when taking out trash cans, mail boxes, running down a dirt road seeing how high he can get the tires off the ground. You can see were someone might be motivated to take your car out. You wouldnt like that would you? Not saying you would do that, just pointing out that why you might want to ask him first before taking it out. |

dude..let me tell you somethin...if hes leaving the keys with you...first of all he trusts you enough with your car that even if you did take it out you could come up with a good enough excuse....like i ran to the store caus my car was out of gas...but if i were you i would take apart the dash and disconect the gauge cluster so it doesn't read mileage...he def. check that before he left to make sure you not just out joyridin...but a couple times around the block and around town im sure he wouldnt mind...just fill it up with gas....have some fun and dont sweat it....go take it out and have fun...ITS AN EVO DUDE!!! GO NOW

IT'S YOUR FREAKIN HOUSE!! and besides, a car has to be started and driven otherwise it could grow crusty and stale and cause problems.
You're doing him a FAVOR by ensuring proper maintenance of his car by pushin 140's. So just send him a text message after you get back to let him know that your helpin him out, and that his car has been in good hands -------------------- QUOTE (presure2 @ Nov 6, 2010 - 6:16 AM) Via FB: fcuking awsome!!! Simply just ask him before he leaves, just say "hey, would you mind if I took your car for a spin around the block?" more than likely he will say yes and accompany you. Worst comes to worst he says "maybe when I get back" and you continue your life like normal.
p.s. if you do take other peoples advice, make sure you bring your digital camera along and take a pic of the speedo and tack maxed out. This post has been edited by bloodrain: Jul 30, 2008 - 8:27 AM -------------------- To live, is to suffer

1. ask him if you can take it out.
2. evo9's are fast. Especially lightly modded. The grip and power that car has in 1st and 2nd gear is insane. My buddy has one, and even on the highway hes always inching away from me. With exhaust/boost controller and a tune, those cars can run high 11s. 3. Be careful. Most (not all) evo owners are dusche bags. You talk big, but I bet you wouldn't even THINK of trying that if say, DEATH was to park his car at your house for a week while he was out of town (assuming he'd be dumb enough to leave you the keys, which I HIGHLY doubt). You'd be a quivering little boy before you even admitted to thinking about it out loud. -------------------- |
