I just wouldn't risk it, especially if you had trouble with it while it's still parked! Just imagine if you were to lend him your celica and he decided to take it out w/ out telling you. Would you still trust him completely?

UPDATE i drove the EVO!!!!!! i took it for a spin for like 10 minutes. i kept it under 50 the whole time but my god this thing is amazing. not to mention the blow off valve going off like crazy. tons of turbo lag when flooring it on any gear besides first tho. but dont care i was turning heads everywhere i never felt this way before!! phew i can sleep happy now. |

He told you to take it in and out of the garage. Maybe he was expecting JUST that. That's why he specified. If he wanted you to use it, he could've been brief and told you, "drive it if you need it". I wouldn't have driven it, unless he gave me permission. Imagine if you have an accident.
