Well like most of our Celicas the power ant. is broke. Mine makes this horrible sound every time i turn my radio on. The horrible sound is loud to and
it really makes heads turn. I just don't know where to disconnect it from. Do I disconnect from the motor in the trunk? Or do I have to disconnect from the back of the radio (I have the OEM premium sound system with OEM radio). Thanks. |

you can do either just unplug in boot or disconnect the one wire behind radio

i had the same problem when i bought my car, i disconnected the antenna. You have to pull a few of the trim panels in the trunk off to get to it but it's not that hard. I recently switched the factory antenna out for a shorter one that i bought on ebay. Looks a lot better than the big metal one sticking out.

it's not that hard to replace. you can get to it pretty easily in the back just with a screw driver for the most part. you just have to remove the panels back there. personally though i would just replace the whole thing while you have it apart.
