Well like most of our Celicas the power ant. is broke. Mine makes this horrible sound every time i turn my radio on. The horrible sound is loud to and
it really makes heads turn. I just don't know where to disconnect it from. Do I disconnect from the motor in the trunk? Or do I have to disconnect from the back of the radio (I have the OEM premium sound system with OEM radio).

Thanks.

you can do either just unplug in boot or disconnect the one wire behind radio smile.gif

i had the same problem when i bought my car, i disconnected the antenna. You have to pull a few of the trim panels in the trunk off to get to it but it's not that hard. I recently switched the factory antenna out for a shorter one that i bought on ebay. Looks a lot better than the big metal one sticking out.

it's not that hard to replace. you can get to it pretty easily in the back just with a screw driver for the most part. you just have to remove the panels back there. personally though i would just replace the whole thing while you have it apart.
