Ok so with my new vert, ASIDE from the tire balancing shaking, theres an "on throttle vibration" that has me stumped....

Add throttle shake gets worse, let go and it goes away.....car shifts smooth and holds gears great (auto)......

Front motor mount is visually pretty worn, but ive never felt this as result of front motor mount on any of my celicas.....

Motor mounts are probably the culprit in this case

If your front mount is worn I bet your rear mount is in even worse condition. When I changed my mounts the front was still good but the rear was cracked and torn up. I'm sure changing your mounts would help with the vibrations. wink.gif

Edit: The rear mounts are not fun to change on these cars btw.... smile.gif

lol dont worry Remy, changing the mounts is the EASIEST thing to do after doing the 3s swap tongue.gif laugh.gif
nah just playing i know the rear has always been a pain, in the 5s,7a, and 3sgte was the hardest, never could get it in once the engine was in the bay//

ill change em out as soon i find some as they dont sell them anymore, i might poly-fill them for now...
So needless to say im very well rounded with these cars, but the reason i posted is because i've never felt this before in any of my 6gc's, even when the timing belt area main mount collapsed (bolts broke off the block on my first auto vert) it didn't feel like this.....

when the 3sgte destroyed the mounts i would hear the rocking of the motor but no vibrations of this sort....guess it has to do with this one being AUTOTRAGIC cwm13.gif

I have the same problem on my car too I'm pretty sure its the transmission as I've replaced pretty much everything on my front suspension and I still have that "Accelerating vibration" problem. But I'm stumped too....although from previous threads/posts its normal for alotta people. confused.gif

So far no one has been able to crack this problem yet...I'm still trying to weight my options if I want a rebuild on my tranny or not, in the long run I don't plan on keeping this S54......I got some advice from friends who are experience in hondas.... and they said the same thing too its gotta be the tranny....
