interesting turn for the worst...
Alarm started beeping... for no reason... It was making that "warning" beep, ya know the quick beep before the alarm goes off? But it was doing it every second. Litterly, every second it would beep. EX: BEEP 1sec BEEP 1sec BEEP 1sec BEEP 1sec (ECT) and drained the battery. So i got a jump and disconnected the alarm. Now the alarm isn't BEEPing anymore, but it's still back to the original problem. Now it's not an "all the time" kinda thing either at lunch, the A/C turned off, but the windows still had power. And vice-vera this morning when i got to work. It's pretty fcukin strange. I'm going to pull eveything apart and trace all the wiring based on the diagrams that have been given to me. (Thanks Griff) If anyone wants to suggest anything else before 5PM i'd love to hear it. I wont have internet over the weekend. Thanks guys! Could it be the whatever controls that function of letting you roll up windows etc for 1 min after the key is removed? no. Whatever it is is being bridged into a constant 12V source. Otherwise it'd cut off after 1 min. Secondly, i dont have this feature. My windows (usualy ) stop instantly as the key is removed. Normaly it has to be in ACC to send power to the windows. Just follow those diagrams and remove anything spliced into them... put it all back to stock Exacaly what i'm planning on doing. It'll make trouble shooting this problem ALOT easier if it isn't the alarm. For the time being, i'm even going to remove my stereo system from the mix, it can always be hooked up later, But having a large automatic capicator could cause some confusion. i'm going to keep it as simple as possible. Thanks Doc. This post has been edited by D-Man: Aug 8, 2008 - 2:21 PM -------------------- QUOTE (presure2 @ Nov 6, 2010 - 6:16 AM) Via FB: fcuking awsome!!! D-man FTW! Damn D-Man - most impressive. When i droped the panels under the wheel, it looked like Techno-Spiderman took a big wirey sh!t down there Sh!t was frayed, filayed, betrayed and 9 kinds of other aid's. Jacked up it 'twas. Now other electrical problems are fixed as well, for example, i was posting on a different thread about how when i took my key out my headlights stayed on, and everyone thought that was wierd, but now that dont happen anymore. Sweet!! I'd like to shout out a big THANK YOU to Dr. Tweak for access to his vault of knolage he stores in his head (you really are a fcuking Genius!! ) And to Griff for the wiring diagrams, I could never have gotten eveything back to stock without them!!
