he had a rare autoimmune disease called sarcoidosis that could have led to his pneumonia complications. although the news said it didn't contribute, i firmly believe it could have played a role.

i feel bad for his family. he was only 50 years old. incredibly sad and shocking.

Yeah. I saw this when I was logging into my Yahoo email this morning. I can't believe he passed away. He was pretty energetic and carried a strong sense of personality for his age. And looked younger than his age too.

WHAT? I thought he was much, MUCH younger than that. Like, early forties, tops.

Sad day, I liked him a lot.

Damn first Pryor, then Carlin now Bernie? If Lewis Black goes we'll be stuck with carrot-top and the rednecks and there will be noone left to tell it like it really fcukin is mad.gif
This is BS.
He was a great guy too - He really did adopt his drug addict sister's kids and all that too.
Hell he never even got to the very top where he belonged.
Oh well at least we still have Chris Rock, Dave Chapelle and Katt Williams [Tho the first two are basically retired and Ole Money Mike needs to come up with some new material cause I now own all 3 of his comedy DVDs and they all have 30mins of the same damn bits - that's getting old quick]

I talked to a few doctors at work and the said the sarcoidosis prob had nothing to do with it...pneumonia is a tricky thing you gotta catch it right away other wise there is little you can do. It is weird hearing how he died so young and from pneumonia...I really liked him...he will be missed and yea it is so sad frown.gif.
