There are clip kinda things on the bottom of a manual shifter surround that hold the boot up, the auto shifter surround does not have them.
If you have a manual and get an auto shifter your shift boot won't stay up. If you have an auto and you want to use a manual shifter surround you'll have to cut the clips off or it probably won't sit right. -------------------- |

It has that spongy material but other than that it appears if you trimmed back the clips that hold the shift bag on the manual trim it will fit perfectly. I can easily do that for you trex6gc
