Can someone explain to me why it is harder/impractical to setup a twin turbo arrangement in a V engine versus an I engine?
I've seen pictures of how it can be done, but I want to know why it is harder to do it this way... Is it because they take up too much space and therefore require a tremendous amount of fabrication/customization to the engine bay? a) its not that V6/V8/V10/V12 motors are easier.....I6 motors are just as easy to put 2 turbos on.
setup....either sequential or bi-turbo. b) people do not TT I4 motors...why? its inefficient, non-fiscally intelligent. so NO it is not harder to TT an I (inline) motor than it is to a V style motor. It depends on space in the engine bay/size of the motor/cost intelligence |
