New to 6GC, Hey Options

Hey what's up everyone.

Im new to 6GC and just wanted to say hi. I drive a 1995 Celica GT-S. Im 17 years old and this is my second car. I used to drive a 92 civic hatch that i learned to drive a 5 speed in that i bought of my cousin for 1000$ cause it was a piece. I sold it cause after i got it back from my accident ( i got rear ended) i realized how much stuff was wrong with it not related to the accident. 3 ball joints were gone, and everytime it rained the floor would fill up for some reason. I was orignally looking to buy another 92 - 95 when i came across this celica at a dealership. I drove by it everyday i went to work and never really considered it. my dad took it for a test drive and stopped by my work, and i was mad cause i told him i didn't want it. i thought about it for a while and i really needed a car, and i guess after driving by it everyday to work got me hooked on it. so it was still there after about 3 weeks and i took it for 2 test drives in 3 days before i finally bought it(with my own money, incase that's what you are thinking.) and Im glad i did.


I slowly started to mod my car, but at that point i still didn't really know to much about cars or Celicas altogether. I was bored on night and somehow came across 6 GC and joined not too long ago. I realized how much potential our cars actually have, and im hoping to be able to mod my car some more once i get some more money, as i am curently jobless.

The mods on my car include"
6000k HID
15% tint
Short ram Intake
Apexi N1 Muffler
LED underglow under the dash( I am plannin to change these to neons once winter is passed cause the led's are too
spotted on the floor for my liking)
3 10" MTX subs that just barely fit in my trunk.
Sony Explode 1000 Watt amp
Pioneer PVH-P4000 Double Din Head unit
I have switched out the map light to a red bulb
And i am also in the process of changing the key ring around the ignition to red except i used the folder tab idea to change the color like others have on here and it didn't work at all, im not sure why, so im still trying to figure that out.

Thats basically what i have done with my car so far, theres a few different routes i want to take next but im not really sure what i want to do cause i don't have the money to do everything right now. Im thinkin wheels and tires and lower it, or skirts and splitters, or a c one front bumper. Anyways, im prett happy with what i have done so far, and its definately a step up from my civic. Well glad you joined the celica community!. And that you steered away from the honda civic. so many of those darn honda's all over the place.

Yup, once you've visited this site, you get hooked on all the beautiful celi's and all the possibe mods you can do with it cause of so much info thanks to coomer, and fellow 6gc members.

Not pin pointing you out or anything, but since when did people start introducing themselves on the this general discussion thread?? Not saying its bad cause it shows how people want to get involved and all, but just wondering???

HAHA thats a good question, i dunno, i saw like 2 other things and i was reaaaalllly bored cause my grilfriend is gone for 2 weeks and its really ****ty in my city to drive right now so i didn't really have much else to do. YEa when i bought the car i didn't know much about them cause it was the first time i've ever seen or heard of them. i usually only see teh 5th gen. I think theres only about 5 6th gen celicas in my city and like 2 of them are modded so..

Beautiful car... mind if I ask how much you paid for it and mileage?
I got my 95 with 124k for $2600, and it has every possible feature except sunroof.
Alas, its previous owners were not very nice to it so it has 2 big impacts on the drivers side,
minor scratches that I'm taking care of now all around, and the drivers side leather seat is ripped.

Yours looks fantastic so I'm wondering how much you paid for it.

I actually paid quite a bit more for mine, cause it was from a dealer and he had it listed high to begin with. it also has every option available except leather which doesn't really bother me. Its got 163 000 KM on it. I think i apaid a lot more then what you did because they arent very common in my city, i've seen about 7 since i have had it which is about 6 months now. And there is absolutely no rust, and it has enver been in an accident and was driven as soft as an old lady would drive it.
