I think I'm going to be selling my Celica, due to me wanting a bigger car and something more comfortable (I guess I'm getting too old for stiff suspension and low cars ). It is a 95 GT, with a 5 speed, and the car is white on black. It is in great shape for how old it is, the interior is damn near perfect, with the exception of the missing passenger tweeter cover. The owner before me got into an accident, so there is a new passenger fender, which was red but it was painted a slightly off white, you can tell if you look hard enough, plus there's some red showing, but you wouldn't notice unless I told you. The car also pulls ever so slightly to the right, I believe something might have happened with the front steering/rack. The car has 176k miles but runs fantastic. Here is the good/bad:
Good: Motor runs smooth, well maintained by me Just put Synchromesh transmission fluid in, tranny shifts smooth Always used synthetic motor oil, changed every 5-6k miles Spark plugs always changed when oil was changed Modified stock intake airbox (restrictions removed) Engine bay covers painted black KYB GR2 shocks on the back, Toyota lower mileage shocks on the front Sprint lowering springs 1.5" all around 16" GTS wheels painted bronze Falken FK-452 tires with 2-3k miles on it 6.5" Infinity Reference speakers in the front (have receipt from install, lifetime warranty) Scion headunit modified to kit (bezel was cut by me to get it to fit) 30+ MPG when driven right A/C and heater work great New front and rear Toyota brake pads installed 2-3k miles ago Recent brake flush with Valvoline synthetic fluid Valve cover gasket replaced Koyo replacement radiator installed New thermostat Recent coolant flush done by Toyota (have receipt) Water pump and timing belt changed in October of 2007 done by Toyota (have receipt) TRD shift knob (have receipt) New shift boot Silverstar low/high beam headlight bulbs Recently cleaned starter connections Newer Interstate battery Doors/rear hatch Dynamat'd Moonroof works perfectly Windows roll down smooth Brake calipers painted black Current tags, passed emissions with flying colors Bad: Cruise control removed (could be good or bad) Repainted body panels, paint is a 7/10. Previous owner bondo'd passenger fender to bumper (I know, right? There is a crack in the bondo, not very big) Pulls slightly to the right Needs new rear strut mounts Headlight tabs are broken on both low beams Driver high beam is filled with condensation Previous owner removed rear speakers No antenna, hole is plugged with rubber stopper This is a great looking car, it drives great, it's reliable, and it's fun. The car is in no way perfect, but it has never given me problems, and I'm sure it will last someone a very long time if they take care of it. Here are pictures that I have, I'll try to get more pics ASAP. If interested, give me a PM. I'll be looking for other cars so I'll be lining those up. My price is $4000 firm. I hope to hear from someone. I'm in the Dallas/Fort Worth, Texas area. If anyone is interested AT ALL, please send me a PM and maybe we can work something out.
I also just installed brand new NGK spark plug wires, plugs, and Toyota distributor cap/rotor. |
