help asap, please, tranny filler plug!!!! |

i cant get it out. and i have already drained the tranny, the nut is rounded of.
Is there any other way to pour oil into the transmission? I cant drive untill i get some oil into it.... -------------------- Learned a lot in 10 years... I hardly log in anymore, last login Today Sept 6 2019, and I was forced just to clarify a post. LOL

Manual trannys don't have dipsticks.... I don't think theirs any other way to add tranny fluid.

and this is why, not busting your balls, you locate and remove the fill plug, fill cap, etc before draining any fluid from a vehicle.

Hey, asap, you might try a torch and a pair of visegrips and some PB Blaster -better than Liquid Wrench (or alternately a hammer and chisel - put that the chisel by the edge pointing in the direction you want to turn the plug. Hit with hammer (say 24oz ball peen).
repeat as necessary. Good Luck. |

The exact same thing happened to me, I managed to hammer on a socket to get it off. I'm going to order another one from Toyota soon.

well bd news, i chagd the tranny seals for the axles cause it was leaking oil, and of course i went aftermaket. now my car is at the shop, dont want to fiddle with it anymore.

Weird, the EXACT same seals are leaking on me now as well. I went ahead and ordered a new half shaft seal along with a new fill plug.
