Did some searching.

I Have a stock 7AFE aside from the intake upgrade, plan on headers and full exhaust soon.

My GF has a spare SAFC II she said shed give me, so I was gonna toss it in here, I was just wondering some stuff I didnt find in searching.

I know it wont be much at all, but can I feel or get for this matter, any gains at all??

Will it be more significant if I toss in a wideband?

How difficult is it to tune with one on this almost stock motor?

Thanks guys, really appreciate the assistance.

the safc is good enough for a mild 7a. I WILL RECOMMEND a wideband so you know what you are doing. Have a look at the PLX or AEM UEGO.

Once you have plumbed in the wideband, you should tune the car to run around 15afr on low / part throttle and around 13 or 14 on full throttle..if you are not going turbo. For turbo i recommend 12's on WOT.

Really appreciate the info, Ill look into getting a wideband, hopefully I can find that AEM for cheaper than $302.... ouch haha.

Ill guess Ill have to figure out the tuning process with an SAFC, Ive messed with one but could never really get into it much

Thanks again for all the info

WOW, awesome thank you!

Whats the install for this wideband into our cars? Any modifications needed or is she plug and play?

This is next on the list for my car, I did a gauge cluster light change last night, red looks so much better. ordered HIDs today, and paint is coming soon, cant decide to shop paint it for more or try that $50 paint job idea.... Ill get back on that later smile.gif

Appreciate it though, this is gonna be fun.

hello mate.

The WB is prety much PnP. I would leave the stock unit in there and drill another bung for the WB. Theoretically you will have 2 o2 sensors.

Let me know when you have installed these and i will talk you through the rest.
