I had just seen a picture of this on this site but can't recall who had them. I would like to talk with you about how you did it and what you needed and stuff.

Thanks

Anybody ever try a 7gc LDC on a 6gc? Would it be possible? Anyone interested in getting Lambo doors from Decah? (They make the kits upon interest)

i am looking to install lambo doors too...
If anybody has done it, could they post the cost and instructions..
However, i have a few fundamental questions....
1. Can we re-use the same doors we currently have.(is the kit an addon)
2. How easy is it to install the kit(by myself)
3. How much does the kit cost
4. Persons who have installed, what is your openion on the Vertical Doors...

I think that your door panels would have to be modified in order to open and close your doors. I talked to soundslut about it, and he said his were modified in order to get the doors to function.

2. Fairly easy 2/5
3. 1500-2000

Check out that link, no modification to the panels are needed. We just need support to get the kit into production.

I've already been in contact with DeCah. I tried several months back. Basically, they told me they won't do it and that the universal kit could be used to make the 6GC have 'lambo-styled' doors.

the kit i used came froma lamborghini body kit for a pontiac fiero.. its not a decah or autoloc... it took alot of custom work to get this on.. im gunna snap some shots of the whole process .. the decah kit is better.. less customizing, if it was out when i did mine i would have done it ;/

yea. best bet = decah for whichever car the measurements match up closest. im guessing like 92-95 civic. and then the same mods that are in that 7gc how to pretty much. not a ridiculously difficult thing.
if a civic owner can do it...

I know someone with a seventh gen celica that has the lambo door conversion. I won't see it until....like October 17th but I'll get pictures. I bet you've seen his car before around the net. Also, I am getting pictures of a meet in Findlay, Ohio. It's not a Celica meet, just a general modified car meet. Later.
