hi, has anyone replaced the clamp rings on the inner larger diameter part of the boot? my boots are doing fine but it seems like the rings are failing to hold the grease in. it looks nasty under there. i dont know what diameter to buy so it holds it tight enough. please let me know, thanks!

you buy a CV axle boot clamp not a hose clamp.
you measure by wrapping a string around and then you have the diameter. -------------------- |

Theres a few metal zip tie strings that you can buy at some autostores. Its like the plastic zip ties except its metal. Its prob much easier to use these than the boot clamps they sell which does the same thing minus the tool needed to turn them.
