I kinda want to replace my factory headlight bulbs with those whiter xenon bulbs, but i dont know what brand would be a good bet. I see tons of $30 a pair sets at auto parts stores, but I cant help but think they are the kind you see on the road that look fake as hell... Ive heard that sylvania whitestars are really good, but last i checked were $120 a pair. Anybody have any suggestions? Thanks!

Just ensure that you don't buy anything that runs above stock wattage, or if you do, be sure to use some relays and re-wire your headlights so that your car doesn't burn down to the ground.

PIAA's are good also, but get the stock wattage or do as recommended above.

It's 55 watts for the low beams, and 65 watts for the high beams.

I actually have some in my low beams right now. They're Ion bulbs, and they have sort of a prismatic effect that looks very cool at night, and is very unique. -------------------- New Toyota project coming soon...

Phillips Bulbs! They are LIGHT YEARS ahead of everything else. Must order them from europe though. Very cheap! VERY VERY bright! I used to run the Vision Pluses in my Tacoma for off-road use and they were INCREDIBLE! They also sell rallye lights at this site but you'll have to upgrade stock wiring big time cause they are 100ish watt bulbs.

I suggest Ebay. Their is a seller on their that sells Nokya Purples in a set of 9005, and 9006 it is only 34.99 or somthing like that, I just ordered them for my cousins Land Cruiser it came in about 3 days and they look just like HID they don't have a fake purple tint so u wont ever get accused of being a ricer with gay headlights.

Don't buy nokya's. They just burned out my socked two days ago since I was running higher watts then normal. The nokya's are at 80 watts but do look very good. I just got PIAA's I payed $100 canadian for them and they look awesome. Just be prepaired to spend a bit more other wise you'll end up burning your socket just like me.

I love mine! I just got some in. Along with the high beams and the sidemarker lights for when i do the clear conversion. Although i have had the sidemarker lights before and they were probably the bluest and toughest little bulb i've ever had. |
