Hi all,
I just ordered a 10" Alpine Sub, and Alpine Amp but im not really sure where to route the wires. From the battery how do all of you have yours go into the car, I really dont want to drill a new hole and mess with that. Also I want all of my wires to be hidden, how do you all have yours running to the trunk? Also where are your ground wires mounted? Any help would be great, I want it to look professional! Thanks much!!!! -------------------- 1997 Toyota Celica GT Hatchback- Sold :( 2000 Toyota Celica GT- Sold :( 1997 Lexus SC400- Daily :D |

i got my power wire running from the battery through the rubber steering column thingy then under the door sill to inside the rear panel to the back of the backseats. My ground wire is mounted to the suspension bolt, but sand the paint down first to bare metal. no wires can be seen.

My amp wire goes thru the rubber boot with the loom going into the car, around to my head unit, branches off from the fuse holder to the head unit and straight through with the rca to the middle under the gear stick, hand brake and arm rest, underneath the carpet on the middle hump and straight under the middle back seat and my ground is on the seat bolt in the middle.

How do you fit and 8 guage or 4 guage wire underneith the door sill? its tight as it is when you snap it on???...I was thinking the center now cuz it seems easier than uning it on the side of the car, seeing how the sub and amp are more near the center of the trunk...but idk what the bast is... -------------------- 1997 Toyota Celica GT Hatchback- Sold :( 2000 Toyota Celica GT- Sold :( 1997 Lexus SC400- Daily :D |

yep its definitely tight but it fits and i have 4ga Thanks anyway, but i think im gonna have to go down the center console, then undernieth the carpet in the center of the rear seats, seems cleaner and easier to do. -------------------- 1997 Toyota Celica GT Hatchback- Sold :( 2000 Toyota Celica GT- Sold :( 1997 Lexus SC400- Daily :D |

Yeah, but you know the horror story that is the convertible & compression. Unfortunetly for us, there is no fancy way of redirecting sound waves, echoing, or re-verbing or any crap like that... The only way for us vert guys to geet more bump is to use bigger, and higher power'd stuff.
That there sir, Helps.... I've done better with less in a hatch -------------------- QUOTE (presure2 @ Nov 6, 2010 - 6:16 AM) Via FB: fcuking awsome!!! D-man FTW! Damn D-Man - most impressive.
