So i plan on getting a new clutch kit soon for my 1.8 celi cause my gears starting to slip a little. I really want to know what the best clutch kit. I know of ACT, Centerforce, and Exedy as being well known clutch manufacturers. I plan on spending around 300-350 on a clutch with shipping. I only have cold air, and new full exhaust system. So im not making much hp. Something with 30 or 40% extra hold over the stock clutch. Any suggestions as to which one to choose....????? kindasad.gif Also when im downshifting into 2nd while im going 40 mph my gear tends to make a grinding sorta sound as if it doesnt want to go into 2nd at all, but it will still go in anways. Also sometimes when im shifting into 2nd at the top of 1st gear going like 30mph it will sometimes grind as well thats the only gear i have problems with for some reason, and i just changed my tranny oil with motul 75-90. So i have no clue what it is. when i get a new clutch kit will it fix it. is it my gearbox. SOMEBODY HELP PLZZ!!!!

7afe is 1.8L engine which comes in the ST model

the grinding may be due to worn synchronizers in the transmission, a new clutch will not help that.
