I ws wondering if I got the 3SGTE swap would I need a vented hood for it to work alright with out over heating problems since the INTERCOOLER would not get as much air. It has a TMIC, so would it be better to turn it into a FMIC or just get a vented hood. Also would the EREBUNI CF Racing Hood vent for the intercooler.

The hood has vents but I am not sure if it works.

Also If I swap, what can I do about performance parts. Do I look up MR-2 Turbo performance parts or is there somewhere I can get performance parts for a GT4.

And when I install the 3SGTE do I have to get new manifolds and different exhaust piping, and WOULD THE GREEDY SP CAT-BACK EXHAUST for the ST work for the swap.

Well, the main question I want answered is the TMIC problem.

Thanks

for the air to air top mount intercooler you need a hood scoop to give it airflow, not vents.

just go with a FMIC, costs a little more but well worth it.

Would getting the GT4 Hood be a better idea than the FMIC....and maybe later when more money is involved get the FMIC
