hmm.. they look pretty good. they're probably the stiffest coilovers available for under $1500.

My friend has them on his WRX and loves them as well, but I have noticed a few problems in their build -


Inferior metals. My friend had taken off his driver's front coilover due to some minor modification (stainless lines - much easier to work on without the suspension in), he had put it all back in and was tightening the top bolts when one of them snapped. He still had 3 or 4 thread rings to go before he came in contact with the body. We inspected the stud and it was actually hollow, and the metal was contaminated - most likely the top layer of the molten metal. His dad is a retired engineer, and said the metal was crap. We tapped all of the studs out and replaced them.

Also, and I'm not saying this is their problem, but after 15K miles on a 1.7" front drop and a 1" rear the shocks started going out.

this is interesting news. Your friend should contact them. But, with mine I had since they first came out and still not a single problem. I changed the height a few times and nothing went out.
