very funny....yes, they are indeed Mounties. sort of embarrassed, really. our dollar is affectionately called the Loonie and the 2 dollar unit the Toonie. people order double-doubles at the national coffee chain Tim Horton's. we travel in kilometres per hour. measure temperature in degrees Celicius but we sell our goods by the pound and no one knows how tall the average man is in meters because it's all feet and inches. i love being Canadian,eh?!?

All those little things that make us awesome. I agree on the height thing though. If someone told me their height in cm, I would be doing the math in my head to put that in ft/in. I hate it when someone describes the temperature in Fahrenheit. Someone says it's going to be 40 out? Damn! That sounds pretty toasty! Oh, and it's a Roof (like saying 'ooooooo' in the middle) not Ruff. That's the sound a dog makes tongue.gif
