I know it's a Toyota motor and it'll last forever and all but there's still 140k miles of wear on everything else. And it still is almost 10 years old.

I got my '97 almost 5 years ago, it was about 2 years newer at the time, had only 126k miles and it was an auto. I got it from an auto auction for $5400.

Basically I think 7k for a 10 yr old car with 140k on it is too much. 6k would probably be fair for both parties considering the rarity nowadays. 4-5k would be a steal.

Depends on the mileage and condition I guess. I have the exact same model, but I got it at 66k miles and paid 7100 for it.

Too much, especially for the mileage. I paid $7500 for our 99 back in 2005 and it had 113K on it at the time.
