ever since i got my celica about 2.5 years ago, i've been super anal about keeping the mileage low. in those 2.5 years, i only put 13,000 miles on it. i've gone great lenghts such as walking to places that were a few miles to vising my family only like once a month while im in college even tho they are only an hour away.
but now i have to break that. I recently got an engineering co-op/internship because its part of the engineering degrees at my university. its decent pay for a co-op ($16.80/hr) but what sucks is that its like 30 miles away. i've gotta drive 60 miles a day, 4 days a week. thats 240 miles a week i know i shouldnt be complaining but my poor celi =[ |

I wouldn't worry about it at all...The only thing is it's going to be more money into gas. Your motor will keep running for a long time to come!

Oh, that's nothing
![]() I was putting about >3000 miles on my Celica a MONTH. That lasted for about 3 months, now that I have two cars, the Celi gets about ~2000/month. For those who are curious on how I did that: 110 miles a day to and from work x 5 days x 4 weeks = 2200 Monthly trip from SF to LA (and back) + miles driving around LA (~1000) -------------------- ![]() ![]() 2002 SC430 (WC) - 19" SSR Comp-H, Daizen swaybars, Sparco Demons, JDM Soarer conversion, carbon fiber spoiler, Injen intake, front strut bar, drilled/slotted Brembo rotors 1997 Celica ST (DD) - 17" ADR, ViS Zyclone CF hood, ViS CF hatch, K&N intake, Invader body kit |
