Bought the Ironman Ultimate 2 Disc or w/e they call it and it was soooo worth the extra $5 over the regular edition. The Making of features are long, very interesting and very detailed and there are so many of them it's great.
If you intend to buy this movie I suggest you shell out the few extra bux [Unintentional pun shell out for old shell head - groan]. OK one more thing - I loved Samuel L Jackson's cameo as Nick Fury at the end of the credits on the theatricle release and I was looking forward to a possible Nick Fury Agent of S.H.I.E.L.D. movie or better yet him just crossing over into Wolverine, Hulk, Capt America [Oh no not again ] and later on Avengers but sitting next to my copy of Ironman was a Nick Fury movie starring David Hasselhoff - WTF Seriously? Anybody know anything about this one? Marvel has Iron Man 2 & 3 lined up, Thor, maybe Ant-Man, Captain America and finally Avengers in the next 3-4 years. Nick Fury may play a part in those movies as Iron Man & Hulk were weakly linked with that scene at the end of Hulk that showed Tony Stark asking about making a "team."
But it won't be David Hasslehoff, those are old movies from the 80s probably. Idk if any of the guys on here remember but there was a Punisher movie with Dolf Lundgren way back when too. This post has been edited by Supersprynt: Oct 1, 2008 - 10:19 AM -------------------- |

I totally remember the failed early 90's Punisher movie [All my Punisher reading friends in Junior High were pissed cause he didn't even have the skull on his shirt ]. IDK about that Nick Fury one tho - Hasselhoff looks older but IDK.
I don't care if he's supposed to be a white guy [something alot of people at the Ironman show were grumbling about - worked for the Kingpin IMO too] - SLJ is perfect for the role. Stan Lee and his Marvel Pictures I hear is now 100% financing their own stuff as of Ironman too and Stan is supposed to now have 100% last say on everything so the Marvel movies I expect will just get better and better. Ironman sure made me think so. Unfortunately I missed the Hulk but I'll pick it up when it hits DVD [Edward Norton - right on ] So what's next on the list then? I can't wait. I heard it was the Wolverine/Weapon X where another of my favorite actors is gonna play Deadpool -------------------- ENGINE: '93 RC 3S-GTE/WRC CT-20b [18-20PSI] PERF: TRD/HKS/ARP/NGK/MSD/ACT/Blitz/STRI/APEX'i/TwosRus/GReddy/Magnaflo/KOYO SUSP: Tein/Bilstein/SusTech/ INT: SS-III SEATS/Toyota Hyper Sports EXT: WRC/TRD/404 Its a safety feature so that people like you don't end up killing themselves or everyone around them. Marvel Studios isn't doing Wolverine, Fox is. That's slated for next year. Trailer is up if you haven't seen it. Looks cool except the discontinuity of Sabertooth between this film and Xmen - but it was inevitable since in xmen he was just a roaring idiot.
Iron Man 2 (2010) is in pre-production, Thor (2010) has a director, Capt America (2011) is still way early. Spider-Man 4 has Raimi, Maguire & Dunst on board, they maybe filming 4 & 5 together. Cross your fingers that this doesn't get real bad and they can turn it around from the disaster 3 was. Punisher 2 trailers are out - comes out either later this year or early next year. Doesn't have Thomas Jane in it though. This post has been edited by Supersprynt: Oct 1, 2008 - 12:35 PM -------------------- |

I need a new tv and a Blu-ray player. I'm stuck in the past.
How does Iron Man look on that Blu-Ray? I hope they don't make an Ant Man movie. I think that they should just pick him up somewhere in the actual Avengers movie when it is made. Captain America will be kickass if they can pull it off right and I hope that Sony knows what they are doing with the next Spiderman movie. -------------------- Pandelica 2.0 in progress. |

Iron Man looks good. I only watch HDTV & BD movies now so I've gotten used to it. Maybe I should throw in a standard def movie to make me appreciate BD more.

I have a 42'' Panasonic 1080p plasma. I have a couple movies on both standard and BD like 3:10 to Yuma and Terminator 2, but the PS3 upscales them too so it's still not avg. SD vs BD.

OK - I have a question for those who know Ironman comics hopefully better than I do; I watched the Ironman DVD again and the special features and they talked about his house in Malibu as if it's a real place however it looks exactly as I remember it from the comics. I read Ironman back in the late 80's and sporatically through the early 90's - basically the armor wars era and a little bit before. Isn't the house in the movie just a CG copy of the one from the comics or is there really a house in Cali like that?
