Houston meet Options

I don't know if any of you guys know much about it or are willing to go. But every friday night there are two meets in the clearlake/friendswood side of town. Sometimes they're amazing sometimes they're bunk. They normally get good around 9 till midnight. I personally frequent these meets and am opening and extending an invitation to all 6gc'ers willing to ride out. The meet at barnes & nobles the organizer of the meet actually rents out half of the parking lot, so it's guaranteed space we won't be bothered on as long as no one acts dumb and gets the police called which no one ever does. But just for anyone lookin for meets in the houston area all cars with 4 wheels are welcome come and join the fun!

We used to have an ordeal like that out here towards' Katy. It'd be fun to organize a night for all of the Houston 6gc crew to meet up and roll in together. Atleast that's what we used to do here on the NW / W side.

There still are meets out here but I don't attend much cause they actually send well informed officers to look for illegal modifications of which I have a few [At least by our retarded laws anyway].
I'd go to that one but it's over an hour away so unless I knew several of the Houston guys were gonna be there I highly doubt it. It's a shame too cause the Barnes and Nobles, which is open late, would actually get some business from me. When I'm not modifying or maintaining the Celica I can usually be found with my nose in book.

well i've been going for the past 4 or 5 months, and never seen evena police car now as for an "undercover" idk but the only people to get tickets are the ones who go off and street race like morons i say we try to get everyone to start going. i'm going there this friday then afterwards i'm going out for my bday so it'd be nice to see everyone hint hint

it's every week at around 9 pm or 10pm normally ends around 12. I'll be there this week in a 94 integra ls grey with paint missing on the hood. or my celi nto sure yet, celi's in the shop

Okay, for this to work, we'd need several people to agree to going, and have a prior meet place so we can all roll in and park together. Making it a Houston 6gc meet, otherwise we'd be parked in random spurattic places, and possibly never meet up together as we're all walking arround with no idea where each other is.

So if you wanna try to make this work, you'll need to do this:

1) Setup a date/time when it's going to be happening.
2) Post on 6gc.net
3) Make sure we have a prior place to meet such as a restaurant or bar
4) Make sure my master phone list is up to date
5) goto meet
6) ??????????
7) PROFIT!!

I hope it's not that riced out Burlington Coat Factory/Taco Cabana meet. I hate that retarded place. It's full of dimwits and morons. It's hard to go through the lot without getting hit by someone trying to do a burnout or just hauling a$$ through the place.

On the other hand, Planet Zero would be a better choice if they happen to have a meet scheduled for that weekend. However, parking is VERY limited over there.

But you're oh so fast Poopra friend is always there when I go. That's where I showed him what the 6gc is all about [Wish you had been there that night].
But I agree - that meet is bad plus there are always undercover and uniformed police there checking for illegal mods - I stay away.
PZ or Frank N Steins would be sweet tho [they still do those? - I haven't been to a local meet in months]
