I was thinking about doing the clear turn signals with the JDM tails.... but found out i can't. DARN.
From California Vehicle Code Book. 24953. (a) Any turn signal system used to give a signal of intention to turn right or left shall project a flashing white or amber light visible to the front and a flashing red or amber light visible to the rear. (b) Side-mounted turn signal lamps projecting a flashing amber light to either side may be used to supplement the front and rear turn signals. Side-mounted turn signal lamps mounted to the rear of the center of the vehicle may project a flashing red light no part of which shall be visible from the front. -------------------- You say you don't understand how we go dumb, but have you ever been where i'm from?

autolumination makes some great LEDS, i have a set in my cleared tails. what i did to clear them was warmed them a lil bit in the oven, pulled out my box cutter, heated the blade on my electric stove, cut the bottom out, unscrewed the orange bit, pulled it out and glued it the bottom piece back on, then threw my orange leds in. you can see it in my avatar <===.

Hey, i just installed mine just then, tho just remember if you buy clear turns, you need to buy amber bulbs if you dont and use the ones with your car ud be flashing white light since the casing is clear now. So you need some amber bulbs, but they do usually come with the clear turns, well mine did

I might be doing white or yellow signal lights on my clears. I have super white led bulbs for my side markers and haven't got pulled over or in trouble yet. These actually project kinda far too and can even blind you if you stare directly at them in the day light. However, since they are low on the car, they are not a problem. They are like the HIDs of sidemarkers.
California law states that clear or amber is ok for the front, amber or red lights for the rear. Figure white is around "clear". LOL Go for it. Worst case scenario you get a $10 fix it ticket. -------------------- 91 MR2 Turbo SW20, 92 MR2 Turbo SW20, 95 Celica GT ST204
