so its been awhile since ive updated this thing...since ive got it running i haven really done much... i took it to a show took home 2 trophies.... i also gotten around to cleaning the car up.... like painting the gas tank rust proofing underneath... i installed an apexi avcr-type r..and also picked up an aem boost gauge.... right now ive been running around on 10lbs... but with the current mods the car feels faster than stock....so whenever i get around to 24 psi is should really move...well all i actually need to do is turn boost up.... but that wont be untill next year ill let the tuners do that

Its an apexi avcr type r ....and the meth is in just not active jeez dude! thats one sophisticated b/c! boost specific apps self learning mode?! yikes! to quote a movie... "Not a bad way to spend $10,000" lol i feel like a cave man with my manual boost controler after reading about that avcr. Happy boosting man! we want MOAR video! and what water/meth are u using? im leaning towards devils own. its almost half the price as AEM -------------------- |

Well I have the aem one because it has the level sensor and boost cut features so when it drops a ceartain level it sends me back to my safe boost setting... plus the controller let's u set begining boost and end boost so it gets a progressive spray wich helps your midrange...and less transitonal knock

Pipes,
just read this whole thread. Amazing stuff man, I'm glad you had the courage to tackle this project. Did the 7th gen seats go in easily? I just picked up a set for my car as well. Keep it up, I'll have to see the car sometime, I'm in Cambridge every weekend. |
