well i guess i should update this with a status of the car...... this year i should be just doing little things on the car here and there
i am looking for the following things though any help would be great

1 exhaust since day one i havent gotten this fixed
2 bigger injectors anyone willing to part with a set of 800cc or higher injectors let me know
3 a standalone but this is where im inthe dark... i have an aem f/ic but i dont think it will help me where i need it with the cams
4 i need a tune i ve driving around on 9lbs of boost funny thing is at 9lbs the car is faster than it was before lol so that says something.... but i want to go to 24psi so.....
i need advise and help to get there and this forum is the place to do it

man! sounds good! i wish i could help you with the injectors, i was JUST talking to a friend that had some 850cc injectors that he was BEGGING another friend to take. he sold them earlier =(
for your power goals, aem standalone is where u cant go wrong, i keep hearing great things about it, but its pretty pricey, what are your power goals? i would ask lagos or manny, or pitcelica. theyve helped me ALOT.

You want power but have no money. That's a problem.

Cheap. Reliable. Fast. Pick two.

When you converted to RHD, did you extend the wiring front the left side to the right? or did you use the harness that came with the clips?
Also, do you have a step by step process or atleast some pictures?

Did you use the control arms from the GT4 or GT that attach to the stock body locations?

On mine, I used the GT4's which are about 3/4" shorter. However I was thinking now it makes the strut more on an angle due to the entire subframe being shifted forward a little. I'm debating if I want to drill new holes in the strut tower to accomodate the move.

Same here used GT-4 arms attached to the GT body mounting location. Struts are almost perpendicular to the ground so if yours are angled there may be an issue.

Well the hub definitely moved forward a little by using the GT4 arms. I'm at work, but off the top of my head the GT4 hub will sit .5" closer to the front of the wheel well than stock. I dont think it's a big issue, but I spent hours aligning it properly. Then spent a few more hours aligning it after I realized the prop shaft had a CV joint and could sit higher. Then to get the correct angle on the subframe to make sure the u joint is at 0 degrees. So I really want to make sure everything is as perfect as it could be.

As of now I know it would be fine on the street, but i'm going to be beating on mine more than any street car will be so if theres any weak points i'll find them. I was just curious because it does change the angle of the strut.

I was in the Best Buy parking lot in Dedham a few months back and saw a celica with stock gt4 wheels...I was like...that's gotta be pipes...drove over to it and got out, saw the right hand conversion, stood around to admire it for about 15 minutes (was waiting for you to come out but you never did). So if you saw someone laying on the pavement looking under your car, that was me thumbsup.gif

Well you'd have to compensate on the driveshaft. It couldnt slide over the transmission splines as far, not that I'd think it would be a huge problem but something that would have to be accounted for.

I've already measured them, like i said its about .5". This is from hole to hole. The arms are actually about the same length, but the there is more material surrounding the hole on the GT4 arms. Hole to hole is what actually sets the distance though.

Honestly I think you could go with either and be fine, but you're just going to have to compensate with the drive/propshaft mounts. The subframe will sit back about .5" further if you use the GT arms versus the GT4.
