So today she is driving the Celica, turns on the heat to defrost the windows, and suddenly smoke pours out of the vents. Any ideas what this could be?. I just put the car back together again but didn't do really anything to the heating system minus a new radiator. Did move the dash a bit so I guess I could have dislodged something but I doubt it would be enough for it to catch fire.

That is very interesting. So this happened all of a sudden? Meaning that you have used the heater before in this car many of time? Or did you purchase it off someone and first time discovering this problem? Not that I would know, but I would wonder if maybe a recent oil change (Maybe some got spilt and is burning?) or if maybe coolant is leaking out from under the hood and it is coming out through there. I had a crack on my radiator and under my hood smoked like crazy. Anyways, I hope you trace the problem soon.
