Friday I put on a new valve cover (including new gaskets and sealant) and changed oil and filter. Driving around, car developed a weird idle and died on me a couple times. No problems, started right back up. seemed to die only when large load on electrical system. didn't drive it anymore... Saturday started my day out, car idled fine tested battery, not up to par, drove up to parts store bought yellow top and Seafoam went home added seafoam to crankcase oil as per recomended instructions. started car, no oil pressure (oil lamp came on) anytime idle below 900... figured oil too thin, drained oil and seafoam (consistency of milk and black as night) changed oil and filter once again using heavier weight oil, started car and it ran fine. This morning driving to work car knocked three times and died... now engine won't even turn over...

that does sound bad, im guessing you already did the damage before the seafoam, it was just a matter of time before the bearing siezed up

Pull the valve cover off again and make sure you didn't get something caught up in there or something. Also check and make sure all your plug wires are put in all the way, and IN THE CORRECT ORDER. Could just be a misfire because the wires aren't on correctly.

x2.. one time doing my valve cover I got one of my injector wires caught under the valve cover.. it happened to get caught on the cam gear and grounded itself.. took me a week to figure out thats what it was.. LOL

I'm guessing you have some sealant in an oil passage. On our cars with the rubber valve cover gasket you don't really need to use gasket sealant, except for maybe a small amount in the corners/bends.
