Can't be any worse that my crap Compaq laptop. Havn't even used it in so long b/c it takes way too long to boot up, and it closes out my IE windows at random times. Not even worth it to me to take it in to see if there is a virus or something... I just decided to upgrade (Big Time!). That is, once I have all the parts I need.

If you've got the OEM install CD for Windows (or mac) I'd suggest starting over. If I were you I would invest in an external hard drive (Seagate Freeagent) or a NAS drive (Buffalo Technologies LinkStation Live) and back up your data and just wipe it. Problem solved.
or you can bring it up here to me and I'll fix it for you. This post has been edited by 95CelicaST: Oct 22, 2008 - 2:53 PM -------------------- 1991 MR2 - T-tops - Crimson Red - Gen3 3SGTE - Lots of money

But now that we know it's a virus, and it's been deleted, the problem has been solved and all in well in the univers. Karma is at ballance. However I don't recommend Linux though, unless you have a lot of techie friends around. It takes a while to get used to if you are a XP user. -------------------- (\__/) (='.'=) This is bunny.
