tried to line things up. its not really 100% OEM fit. custom work could make them fit

Wait so the corolla skirts are long enough but just need to be customized to fit?

I've always been curious about this, as well as if the front/rear splitters would line up. It would be TOO COOL if they did. Those corollas are in abundance here.

I've wondered about the splitters too, they look like the corners are too squared though, ours are much more obtuse angles

well not the best pic of my car from the side possibility??? maybe........but as you see the rear of the sideskirt is small. compared to the 404 (pretty much an extended OEM) This post has been edited by 808celica: Oct 14, 2008 - 4:15 AM -------------------- I don't normally drive fast, but when I do its on a curvy section of this island

I looked up the wheelbases for both the corolla and the celica, the corolla is 102.40" and the Celica is 100.0." So I guess the corolla skirts will be a little bigger, and its always good to have extra right? Cause cutting to fit is easier than elongating it? Someone correct me if i'm wrong.

I have wondered that myself too! My mom has a corolla and I keep looking at her side skirts like "hhmm..... I wonder if I could get some like that". But they don't look long enough in my opinion, but sure you can get away with it.

I understand you say they don't look long enough, but is better to translate that into numbers. -------------------- |

4 Door Corolla side skirts from the bottom (which is a few cm more than the top of the actual side skirt) measured an exact 74" which comes to 6'2". The Celica hatchback came to less than that. Like 72" or something I believe. I didn't really care to measure the Celica because it was getting dark on me when I had remembered, because luckily class was canceled tonight so that I could do the measurement.
So there you have it I measured 4x as I couldn't believe that was 6'2", but a friend and I checked and checked. Sure enough..... If anything too long for Celica If my mom wasn't going through Menopause (LOL), and I was sneaky enough, I was actually thinking of removing it and trying it on, but ugh......... That could be fatal.
