He made two HUGE errors. Picked up a car from a body shop AT NIGHT. Signed off on work that obviously could be better done by monkeys.

QUOTE (14:19:21) Daniel: That was a JDM hole in the side of the box too. There was so much JDM trapped inside that box that they couldn't contain it, so they had to put a JDM hole in the box to let the JDM out. QUOTE Ferdi says (11:29) No, it looks like a hooker put her acid vag on your hood. Acid vag = bigger problem than a few dings. |

i was reading this last night linked from celicatech.
now, mind you, i work at a maaco. lol i have seen some stuff that would make you CRINGE. but i have NEVER seen anything like that. that just makes me sick to my stomach, and its stories like that that made me start working on my own car, and what made me take the job at maaco (for the bodywork experience.) i mean hell, we are the macdonalds of paintjobs. we paint COMPLETE vehicles for as little as 350$. and even THOSE jobs come out looking better than that work. i gotta be honest tho, on some level, seeing work like that gives me a sense of satisfaction in knowing even with the limited experience i have painting (a year of painting cars is NOT "experienced") i would NEVER let somthing like that go out the door of our shop. hell, i put 2 small runs in shannons car, and had no choice but to deliver it that way ( she needed the car back) and it KILLS me every time i see it,(and that was when i had even less experience than i have now) and cant wait to paint the car again for free to make up for it, and to show them what i can actually do. if that were my car, someone would be getting SMASHED to the surface. -------------------- Former Team 5SFTE pro member ;)
