Anyone try these? Think they'd be a good tire for the celica? It NEVER snows here or even rain that much so wet/snow traction isn't really an issue. Tread life isn't that important to me either. looks like the cheaper dunlop tires. if the tires cost less than $130 each im not putting them on my car IMO. but its yours so go with what you want.

So what tires are you running on your car then 808? I have had great experience with Dunlop tires. Those are some pretty good ones you're looking at. Are they the best tire out there? No, but for the price, I would say it's a good choice. It depends on what you're planning on doing with your Celica. I would recommend different tires for each individual Celica owner depending on what they use their car for. If you're looking at the Direzza Sport Z1's then I figure you're looking for a higher performance tire. You should take a look at the Bridestone Potenza RE-01R's. The dry and wet handling on those tires are amazing. --------------------  |

 and yok parada spec 2 on the 18s

have you looked at the falken azenis rt-615? they are an unbelievable lire. if i can find an extra set of wheels, i may just try and get a set for the celica. they are a tire that do really well in autocross and i absolutely loved them when i was using them in the canyons. they held corners like none of the other tires i've owned and didn't seem to overheat after running them fairly hard, then letting them cool in between runs in the mountains. if you don't want to go r compound, but want a great street tire, this is the tire for you. plus they aren't directional so you can cross rotate them on a regular basis.
