There is a weird noise coming from the left rear wheel....the only way i can describe the noise is it sounds like a cricket continuously chirping....does anybody know what it could be?

can you hear it from outside the car?
- maybe a loose suspension part, broken spring if its coming from inside - empty your hatch. take everything out and repack it. could be a loose cover, spare, jack. could be an improperly latched rear seat (actually heard that one once or twice). my 0,02$ -------------------- ![]() |

does it make the noise when you're standing still or only moving?
If its only when you're moving, I'd start checking your brakes too, possibly its a dust shield or something rubbing. -------------------- '99 Celica GT - Sold
