hell lets do it on my birthday week! Sounds good - seems like every Texas meet I've ever been to was on a member's b-day. The first one back in '04 was on mine and another member's. Last time was Zero's [kind of]. What's the date? april 9th Mine's the 1st so I can celebrate mine a lttle late if that's the deal -------------------- ENGINE: '93 RC 3S-GTE/WRC CT-20b [18-20PSI] PERF: TRD/HKS/ARP/NGK/MSD/ACT/Blitz/STRI/APEX'i/TwosRus/GReddy/Magnaflo/KOYO SUSP: Tein/Bilstein/SusTech/ INT: SS-III SEATS/Toyota Hyper Sports EXT: WRC/TRD/404 Its a safety feature so that people like you don't end up killing themselves or everyone around them. May? Anyone game for May? I'm driving down to Vegas in May (I don't remember the date I have to be there but I can find out) and was planning to make a really really big circle by continuing on to Houston for a few days There's no way I could make it in March or April though, because it's May that I HAVE to be in Vegas for a thing for my mom, and plus, the passes are still really snowy in March/April and there's no way to get out of western Oregon without going over a mountain range.

I think you need a few more "Really"s, a "Very", the word "Insanely", and a cuss word if you intend to properly complete that sentence I'd be great to meet ya in person griff. woohoo! After May 10th is great! I'll find out for sure when I need to be in Las Vegas, and just how far Houston is from Vegas. That'll give me an idea of when I should be able to be in Houston by.
Remember though that this is all entirely contingent on if I have enough gas money for this whole trip. As for keeping up with anyone, well... I'll be in back with D-Man Edit - I'll be behind D-Man, he's at least got a 5S This post has been edited by GriffGirl: Nov 14, 2008 - 1:07 PM -------------------- |

The good part about the Austin runs is there really aren't much straightaways to speak of

The good part about the Austin runs is there really aren't much straightaways to speak of exactly. especially on that super twisty route which we will do this time. if you have a decent suspension & know the limits of your car everyone is pretty level, so hp (or lack thereof) is only an issue in straightaways. of course AWD + LSD can also lend a helping hand -------------------- '87 AW11 MR2 "Super R2" 4AG-ZE swapped Stage 1 Complete

hah - I was gonna suggest, that sometimes having a faster car doesn't always depend on the engine, the driver plays a part in it too (and I'm a damn good driver)

Oh i forgot alex. He'll be in the N/a group with us Or will I...? May is a long ways away to save up some $$ and to get things done. What's funny is that my car's been knocking for about 3 years now and I've done this cruise twice in one year so far without any problems. As Death said, "That is one Frankenstein of a motor."
