I'm not sure in a Celica since I'm not sure why it happens but I do know some of the new Tundra's do that and it's considered by Toyota to be normal.

relax I know exactly what your talking about, it almost looks like the foam on a latte. my car had this when I first bought it with 68k on it clock. I almost had a heart attack because I thought it was coolant entering my oil somehow ( assumed head gasket was shot). But a compression test was within spec and there was no white exhaust under full throttle and after a few oil changes using mobile 1 10-30 It went away. My guess is that moisture gets into the crankcase somehow. Maybe through the evap system? or faulty pcv valve. Come to think of it, it went away when i replaced the pcv...

Shouldn't be a big deal unless there's lots of it. Chrysler's have a HUGE problem with this "foam," especially in their trucks. They even designed the filler tube now to have a cover in it so at first glance it looks normal, but pull that out and it looks like vanilla pudding.

it sounds like an air compressed oiler was used to put the oil in cause its what happens to me at work when we dont have enough oil to air ratio so it gets all foamy. but the air is just used to push the oil out so i dunno what it is just my two cents
