Ah, ok. My old red Celica had a black interior and had floormats but my new black Celi has a tan interior. I love the black and tan combination, but the car came with no floormats whatsoever. So I assumed that the guy ruined them and threw them away, just like he did everything else, but I've looked and simply cannot find tan floormats. It's really depressing , not having floormats, an antenna, cruise control, and several other things. It HAD all of that stuff at one point in time...

Hahahahaha well hey, your car is clean. You've got that much going for you. My car was wrecked but they never filed an insurance claim and it was a DIY paintjob. The guy never sanded all the paint down on the front bumper, just sprayed more paint and clearcoat on top of what was already there, so all my paint is falling off, plus he kept it outside or something, because a lot of the rest of the paint was faded until I hit that deer. Now half the paint is new wink.gif Still need to get that front bumper repainted though... But I'd rather drive around with a crappy bumper now and have a mkIV Supra later than have a nice bumper now and a Supra way later. Either way, I'm getting a Supra biggrin.gif Mt standards are low at this point in time.. I just want one with floormats and an antenna. I'll fix everything else myself smile.gif

Hahahaha I'm thinking maybe I should change the title of this thread to "Daniel's Conversation About Floormats."

I'm also surprised the mods haven't deleted it yet since we've gotten pretty far away from talking about the wheels and the spoiler.

I'm gonna give it like another 3 days to hear anyone's opinion on the wheels or spoiler then I'm gonna try to get the thread deleted, I guess. Or maybe I'll just stop posting so it stops going to the top of the list.

Either way, does anyone else have any opinions on anything? Suggestions?

Ship me your rims, I'll put them on, and then I'll be able to give you an opinion.

I like what you've done with the wheels. It may not look super perfect up close, but if they look alright from a distance, and you're happy with them, then cool. Keep them for now, and if you change your mind, you can always remove the paint, paint the logo red, whatever.

As for the wing, I'm not diggin' the mod on that, myself. But it might be because I know how the 2-post looks, and it's a little different than your modded 3-to-2. I'd put that 3rd post back in; it anchors the design better IMO.

For other inexpensive and instant-gratification mods, you could tint or red-out your tail lights, make a mesh grill from Home Depot stuff, wash/wax clay bar your car, and clean your muffler and polish the tip (that sounds dirty in a really gross way)

Lol if I did that, I'd have to put my spare 14" steelies on the car with no hubcaps, but nice try!

I'm getting ready to try to find a way to repaint the rest of the caps later today so that there won't be new black paint in the middle of crappy faded paint. I'm going to go by AutoZone or somewhere and see if they have the right color paint, but I'm more worried about getting the old paint off. But yeah, from about 5 feet away, they look fine, so I think I will keep them black.

I just put the third post back in last night to keep anything from leaking, although seeing the design of the post, I don't know how it doesn't leak anyway, There's no weather insulation there, just a bolt in a hole. Oh well, I would love to get the GT4 spoiler anyway smile.gif

Actually, I hadn't even thought about doing anything with the exhaust. That's a really good idea! As far as the tail lights go, I'd rather not touch them. I think anything you can do to them looks cheesy and you can easily tell it's a DIY job (no offense to the guys that have done it- I'm sure there are a hundred thousand things I've done that are a lot worse!). I've used that clay bar on my car... It's some good stuff! I bought the Turtle Wax ICE liquid clay bar. It was $15 well spent. I'm sure if it wasn't liquid that it would do even better. Anyway, to those of you that haven't done this to your cars yet, GO SPEND THE MONEY!!!! It's worth it!!!! It won't work miracles, but I can always notice a difference before and after.

You kidding? I wouldn't let you do that. Instead, you can have my 14" steelies WITH full wheel covers. Huh? HUH?

Ahahahaaha OR I could just keep my alloys wink.gif Lol. I've been meaning to pick up some hubcaps for those steelies.. They have brand new tires on them and my Falken Ziex 512's are terrible for winter weather, from what I hear. And we just got our first snow flurry yesterday. So I'm just gonna swap out wheels for the winter and have my Falkens for next spring.
