i have a 97 Celica st and my brakes just wont work! i bought new master cylinder and brake pads. one of the problem i found was when i had my ignition turn off and applied pressure to the brakes and it was responding. but as i turn the ignition on i lost all the brake pressure? when my ignition is on and im pumping the brakes the idle of the car increase but when the the car is off it has pressure. don't know what is up. so i bleed the brakes and still no sign of braking. will i need to replace the brake booster??? anyone for an idea plz help

bleed the brakes starting from the back, and then the front, I had a similar issue with mine, but it was my dumb friend wasn't bleeding his side properly, once I bought a mighty vac and bleed them both sides myself, the problem was gone.

i've done that more than once and also ive had the brake lines clean out and still wont work. the idle on the car keeps on increasing while the car isnt moving and the ignition is on? dont now what to do?
