1997 GT. My manual says that the fog lights should come on when the tail lights are on. However they only come on when the headlights are on. Does this sound correct? I would prefer to be able to turn them on with just the running lights on and not the headlights. I just got this car so be gentle biggrin.gif

your lights switch have the fog light control where you can control when to turn on the fog lights

OK. They only come on when the switch is turned all the way (when the headlights come on). Can I change it so that they come on before that when only the running lights are on?

Foglights are on when the lowbeams are, unless you turn the foglights off, then they won't turn on at all (clearly).

You can rewire them to your own relay and hook it up to the running lights, but you're on your own for that.

unless you run seperate wiring for your fogs thats how you can make them come on without the low beams.

They won't be on with your high beams, even though your lows remain on.
