buy a factory bumper, spray a few layers of modelling foam on it, shave it to shape, make a mold of it, make new bumper out of fiberglass.... this way you know it will at least fit on your car. and if somebody likes it you have a mold and can make another.

You should build off an existing bumper. Maybe not your stock one, but you can pick up an aftermarket fiberglass front bumper for $100 new, or used for even cheaper. Yeah, maybe it won't fit perfect, but since you're going to be building a front bumper, I doubt that fitment issues are going to be a concern since you can just build the bumper to fit.

Like everybody said, go with the factory bumper as ur base. Other wise ur almost garenteed poor fitment.

Word to the wise. It takes alot of time and paticence.

Its easy. If ur molding two seperate bumper together like I did u need one long cloth thats wide enoungh to touch over both bumpers. About 2 to 4 iinches then cut lil 5x2 inch rectangles. Lay ur resin on the first mat then lay ur rectangels. lay more resin do this about four times. Four good layers. Mat-resin-mat-resin. Let it dry flip the bumper over and do the inside the same way but use more mating. Do this 5 or 6 times. The bondo I used was red put more hardener than need. so it dries quickly. Once it completely dry in like 20 mins. I go to town on it.
