Step 1- pop your hood.
step 2- look at the strut tower, you'll see 3 nuts on both sides of the towers. They are near the fenders and fire wall. You'll see them. Remove the 6 nuts assuming you don't have a factory strut bar.
step 3- If you do have a factory strut bar you will see 2 bolts in the center of the engine bay on the firewall bolting down the factory strut bar. Remove those 2 bolts.
Step 4- put on your 3 point and bolt down the nuts and apply the 2 center bolts for the center part of the strut bar onto the firewall.

I thought you WERE supposed to jack the car up to take the load off the struts before you put the strut bar on, so that it goes on with "equal distribution" on both sides (for lack of a better word)

Griff I guess you're right. I never thought of that. Either way, I guess I have been doing it wrong the whole time. Oh well, my car still handles like a go kart.

i dont think it matters to be honest...i never jacked my car up either...it just creats the car from swaying...its not going to add any rigidity to it just by jacking it up and putting it on i dont think...as long as its on its on lol

You don't really need to jack up the car, you would only need to if the weight of the car is putting too much compression to remove the factory strut bar or if there is too much compression to install the new one. Seeing that you got a C-ONE strut bar, I'm sure it will be a tight fit if you don't jack the car up. Fitting my Apex'i one is always a tight fit if I don't jack the car.

Yeah I didn't jack up my car either and the strut bar went on fine.
