As I said in my last post, I ordered powerstop vented rotors for my front brakes on my st, the rotors are for a gt and they don't fit. I didn't know that the front rotors on the gt were bigger then the st so I was just wondering if I could do a front brake conversion using gt components. I figured I would just get the front brake assembly from a gt and just bolt it up like I did with the rear conversion. I just want to make sure this will work, so will it?

You can switch to GT front brakes if you want; you just need the calipers from any auto parts store (probably about $100 for the set), you need to source the caliper brackets from a junkyard or someone parting out a GT, you'll need new brake pads, and you already have the rotors.

Just to save the cost of returning the rotors, it's not really worth it.

as Hurley said, just get the GT calipers and brackets and they bolt right on in place of the ST parts.

I know they make performance rotors for the st, but yeah, powerstop only makes them for a gt. I may just return the rotors and get summit racing drilled and slotted rotors. The only reason I don't wanna do that is I'll have gold rotors in the back and silver up front!
