There is a weird noise coming from the left rear wheel....the only way i can describe the noise is it sounds like a cricket continuously chirping....does anybody know what it could be?

an actual cricket! no, how bout a seized bearing, that keeps making your rotors warp and rub against your pads when you drive

$150 for the hub and wheel bearing, trimming rotors is $20 a piece, should do both sides..labor depends where you take it, i could do it for $40

can you hear it from outside the car?
- maybe a loose suspension part, broken spring

if its coming from inside
- empty your hatch. take everything out and repack it. could be a loose cover, spare, jack. could be an improperly latched rear seat (actually heard that one once or twice).

does it make the noise when you're standing still or only moving?
If its only when you're moving, I'd start checking your brakes too, possibly its a dust shield or something rubbing.

I have the exact same problem! no clue what it is, mechanically retarded. Thought I'd just let you know you're not alone... smile.gif Going to go with LEWFX on this and try to tighten everything up.
