i have a friend with a galant. the right side speakers in her car do not work. i looked at the stereo tonight. the wires are hooked up right. i also tired the AA battery trick (take paper clips and tape them to the ends, insert the clips into the harness in the negative and positive clip for each speaker). if the speaker makes a "pop" then the wire is good. i preformed this test right where the harness goes into the head unit. all 4 speakers made the "pop". so in theory all the wires should be good. does this mean that the speakers on the right are bad? if they are does anyone have recommendations on good speakers? this problem isn't with a celica, but i figured it is interior and electrical. maybe this topic could help someone with the same issue.

thanks.

stupid question, but is the balance centered? if theyre making the "pop" them the wire and speakers are fine. so its either the balance or the actual head unit that is bad
