 7th gen auto shift knob, direct replacement with the 6th gen? |

As stated in the title, I was wondering if I can replace my 6th gen auto shift knob with a 7th gen auto shift knob?
Would i have to modify/cut it or anything? does anyone on here know if this will work?...50 views and on ideas?
the knob does have a nice feel to it...looks way better than the one i got ahha -------------------- |

im sure it will work, maybe small mod like if teh screws arent both right, try it with just one. worth a shot right?
