this car is definitely worth every penny. Secondly, if I ever got a GT-Four I would LEAVE it RHD -- it just takes away from the car. There possibly could be FOUR GT-Four's in the US. My brother knows a guy that imports/restores cars and works at a shop near my state's Capital. He was talking to my brother and my brother mentioned to him that I was a GT-Four freak. The guy was ASTONISHED that a kid my age knew was a GT-Four was. Anyhow, the guy said he would try and work something out for me cos of my brother. But here's the thing, the guy had just imported a GT-Four for a guy and if I'm not mistaken, I believe he was importing it for a guy in Indiana. I have no idea if you are the guy that got the GT-Four, but if you aren't, then there is one more to add to the list.

Again, any offers welcomed. I have 3 cars coming in soon from Japan, and this one will have to go.

I appreciate the comments. Those that have enquired about driving RHD cars, its very easy. Once you drive a car, you can pretty much drive another, no matter where the steering wheel is. I have done it since I was 18 (Im now 26). The only downfall is all the looks you, paying tolls, and going through a drive thru at Macdonald's for example. wink.gif

Im really hoping that someone who fully understands the car will purchase and take it further. Its a beautiful machine, but unfortunately Im an evo freak. biggrin.gif

Man this whole importing cars thing sounds like some sort of cult by those who are actually in on it.... biggrin.gif

I would just really like to know how, so that in the future i could consider importing something like a GT-4 when i find the money. But thats definately insane that you got one into the US in that kinda shape, and in one piece. I dont see what the purpose is of keeping it so secretive though....its not like everyone is gonna go out and buy imported cars if someone did say how they did it. Its just too much of a hassle for some people. rolleyes.gif

Im going to see if i can make it to Englishtown though...that would be great to see what all the hype is about. smile.gif

Howdy folks,

Did anybody see me at englishtown this weekend? If so, I appologize for having the car for only 1 day (saturday). I had a problem with my evo and had to trailer it back, leaving no room tow the celica. So I decided to leave Saturday, drop off the car, sleep at home, then come back the next day for my evo.

It was the worst weekend I ever had. Rained as soon as I was about to run an STI on saturday, blew my clutch on the first run (on the evo), didnt get to run, wasted my time money and energy, a total inevitable loss. frown.gif Well, thats what I get for drag racing. I should have joined the drifters, or even the car show. rolleyes.gif

All those that have emailed about the car, I have sent out the replies. Any further questions, dont hesitate to ask. If anybody interested in purchasing the car would like to come and visually inspect the car, you're more the welcomed to do so. Just contact me via email or PM me so we can set something up.

Sphinx, like bonsaisushi said, try motorex. Only thing he made a mistake was on the price. For an R33 vspec they want about 50 to 60K. For an 1990 r32 GTS (very plain and basic) they want 18K for it.

I never attempted to import one, nor ever wanted one. They are awesome cars, they look great, but extremely over priced for what you get. You can import one for way less than stated, and get motorex to legalize it for you. They will charge about 25K just to make it legal. thumbsdown.gif

Besides, every event I go now it seems that at least 2 people have skylines there. This weekend there were two at Etown. I like my Evo and GT4. Its bound to be the only one anywhere I go, plus people dont automatically know what it is.

Plus, toyota just makes one hell og an engine, dont you think?

Actually....the R33 that MotoRex has for sale has tons of upgrades on it. And I'm assuming it puts out numbers above 600 HP because it has a 800HP fuel pump on it. A stock R33 would go for 30-40K.

Besides the fact, I do agree that you could import one a lot cheaper if you didn't go through them. But since I don't know the process or who to talk to, I can't help you there.

Gosh, this guy has my two favorite cars, haha, I'm an EVO freak too, but it stays here. Don't be spreading it on celica.net, hehe.

Hey, the cat-back exhaust on my Supra has a JASMA badge, but on the tail it says RS Racing Sport and looks exactly like the A'PEXi RS, so I think that's what I got.
