Hey guys. I was reading about the automotive cryogenic treating. And I wanted to know if anyone in here has tried it before. Would it be good? And what your opinions are about it.

I have heard that cryo treatment works but I don't know if that company is the best example. From their website
QUOTE
Cryogenics International treated spark plugs showed an increase from 9 to 25 horsepower on a V-8 racing engine and also increased gas mileage.
Source - A racing engine builder.
I have heard of small performance gains from side gaping and indexing plugs but its minimal 2-3 hp they are saying they are getting 25 by cryo treating. I call BS let me see dyno proven results.

Looks like a lot of buzzwords and pseudo-science to me.

so basically your rearranging the molecules into a more uniform grid pattern? as opposed to the slightly more random distribution resulting from casting?
I can kind of see how a really cold temp would coax the molecules to line up... but wouldnt repeated heating and cooling do the same? isnt that how they increase a metals tensile strength? It just seems that heating would be alot easier than cooling...

This looks like a scam. Check out the CD/DVD section. If it was this easy I'll toss my scratched CD in the freezer and see if it plays again
